France Vacation Tips

Before you go, get a good guidebook that will advise you about each of the seven regions of France and give you good advice regarding French cultural do's and don'ts. Learn at least 10 or so of the most basic phrases in French - you'll earn more respect from the French if you are at least trying to speak their language rather than expecting them to speak yours. We recommend taking a French/English dictionary to make your vacation run more smoothly. Public transportation is safe, abundant, affordable and not too difficult. Rail passes are less expensive if purchased before you leave Canada. Beware of pickpockets and keep valuables in a safe secure place.
